The Associate Level course is intended for those working with struggling readers of any age in a small group or in a one on one setting. In this course, participants analyze data/assessment, develop a student profile for a struggling reader, and design/deliver an individualized lesson plan implementing the Orton-Gillingham principles. Completing this in-depth coursework (70 hours in person and 5 asynchronous) meets the Associate Level coursework requirements developed by the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA).
Practicum: The fee does not include any fees associated with doing a practicum for those interested in pursuing certification with the Orton Gillingham Academy.
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree
