Key Learning Center – Bridge from Basic to Advanced

A follow-up to the OG Associate Course, and/or Part One of OG Certified,  this course is for those who are ready to work with higher-level language concepts. Key’s Level III sequence is presented with a focus on strategies for remediation of the older student. A review of syllabication and spelling generalizations is the bridge from phonology to advanced language skills. The morphological layer of English (prefixes, roots, and suffixes) and a sequence for morpheme instruction are introduced as well as an introduction to syntax and writing strategy instruction.

Practicum: Practicum will begin once Certified part 2 is offered in the summer of 2024.

Prerequisites: Bridge may be taken as a stand-alone course after Associate or as Part One of Certified.
