The training focuses on multisensory principles of teaching as well as current research-based language instruction designed to integrate reading with spelling and writing for the middle to high school age student. In addition to class hours, the course includes a student teaching component, follow-up observations, and consultation throughout the following year. The course fee includes textbooks, a training binder, a screening evaluation binder, and morpheme card decks.
