The 30-hour Classroom Educator course introduces participants to the Orton-Gillingham approach and how it is used in the classroom. The course meets the Academy standards for the Classroom Educator level. Upon completion, trainees will be able to work with students in a classroom or small group setting using the Orton-Gillingham Approach.
Practicum: 50 hours supervised practicum teaching a group of students over a minimum of 8 months. Includes 5 observations. Scheduled individually for an additional fee.
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree
